In 1995 we encountered a phenomenal package deal for Australia to go to the Sydney Mardi Gras, with an add-on package to go to Cairns and the Great Barrier reef. Since Stavros seemed to have A LOT of first cousins in Melbourne we decided to finish off the trip by visiting Melbourne for a few days before returning to the states

The photos here were not of any exceptional quality and were scanned with a cheap scanner. Looking back at them the one thing that jumps out was that we did have exceedingly overcast weather almost the entire time we were there. That is not to say we didn't have a fabulous time. Mardi Gras in Sydney, snorkelling the Great Barrier Reef off the coast of Queensland, and the Moombah Festival in Melbourne.
